Endless Division Plunging into the Abyss… The Standard for the Center is 'Election Fraud'

Former lawmaker Min Kyung-wook of the United Future Party (the predecessor to the People Power Party) sounded an alarm for the conservative right-wing society, which appears to be on the verge of falling into an abyss due to continuous division, stating, “One should look at the values a person upholds and the banner they carry, rather than the person themselves.”

In an interview with on the 15th, the sixth anniversary of the April 15th fraudulent election, Min emphasized, “The left is value-centric, while the right is people-centric based on humanism. Therefore, if you focus on individuals, division is inevitable.” He reasserted 'the fight against election fraud' as a clear and overarching value to guide amidst this chaotic era.

Min, who has been leading the fight against election fraud against unprecedented hardship and trials, and could be called the last bastion of the domestic election fraud struggle, clearly stated, “The fight against election fraud is a great value.”

He continued, “The fight against election fraud requires intelligence, patriotism, and courage. If even one of these is missing, one cannot fight.” He pointed out, “Therefore, one’s attitude towards election fraud reveals whether they are an opportunist or have genuine conviction from the start.”

He cited the case of Hwang Kyo-ahn. Hwang, the former Prime Minister, was the leader of the Liberty Korea Party (the former People Power Party) in the April 15, 2020 general election, but stepped down before the election results were finalized. Amidst the nationwide spread of the 'Black Protest' (now the 'Yoon Again' protest) seeking to expose election fraud, there was significant public criticism against Hwang for his silence as the leader of the party most affected by the alleged fraud.

However, after a recount, which took place 1 year and 2 months later, he fully joined the fight against election fraud. During a presidential debate, he held up a panel showing unusual ballots like 'cabbage leaf ballots,' exposing election fraud for the first time on terrestrial television, and has continued his struggle ever since.

Min Kyung-wook stated, “Perhaps Hwang Kyo-ahn also changed after remaining silent for about a year and then joining.” He stressed, “There is a reason to pay close attention to the values a person espouses, rather than the person themselves. If you focus on those values, you will inevitably see who perseveres with deep conviction.”

He then added, “If someone abandons the banner, they should be blamed.” He criticized, “As Yoon Suk-yeol and Han Dong-hoon diverged, those who followed Han Dong-hoon became like the left-wing, denying election fraud.” He continued, “One should not go around saying, ‘We are on Jang Dong-hyuk’s side, so why are you criticizing him?’ If someone who was enthusiastic about fighting election fraud suddenly becomes silent, claiming there was no fraud, then one needs the courage and judgment to say, ‘You shouldn’t do that.’”

This suggests that by chasing individuals, one might fall into sentimental or indiscriminate traps and miss the greater cause of 'exposing election fraud.' Min opined, “The left unites based on values, while the right unites based on people due to humanism. Especially in asphalt civic groups, the belief that the Prime Minister, doctors, and ordinary citizens all have equal status leads to human friction and division.”

He further advised, “Amidst all this, one must have the insight to see what the values are. By observing the current stance of someone who was once deeply interested in election fraud, one can make a sound judgment about their direction.”

That Day Six Years Ago… “If I went back, I would have done it again.”

Min recalled the day six years ago when his arduous journey began. He said, “On April 15th six years ago, after casting my vote with the certainty of being re-elected, my office was filled with congratulations and cheers. All ten opinion polls showed me in first place, and the exit polls and vote counts also showed me leading, so I was confident of victory.” However, the dream vanished as the election results were suddenly overturned in the early morning. Suspicion of election fraud arose with the discovery of anomalies, such as the identical pre-voting rates (both inside and outside polling stations) of 0.39% for all three candidates.

Min publicly raised objections and launched his struggle. What was initially expected to be a two-week fight turned into a long, six-year battle. He stated, “During the time it takes for a primary school student to become a university student, I faced many hardships and trials. I lost fame, honor, friends, money, physical strength, and time, but I have no regrets.”

At this point, Min asked himself and answered. He said, “Someone asked me, ‘Even if you knew then that this fight would last six years, would you have done it?’ I told them, ‘I would have done it again.’”

The following year, on April 15, 2021, the preparatory hearing for the case was held after a full year. In June of that year, a recount was conducted for Yeonsu-eul, Incheon. It was a fateful recount that shocked everyone with its bizarre and anomalous ballots. Min said, “I believed that the Supreme Court, as the cornerstone of our society and the final arbiter, could be a judge of justice.”

However, the reality was different. In fact, it was closer to shocking. Min recalled, “As I entered the recount site, sudden worries, concerns, and doubts arose in my mind. I thought these were fake ballots prepared to match the results. Ballots like cabbage leaves, glued ballots, Japanese Imperial Army ballots, ballots with different margins, and ballots with arrows were direct evidence of election fraud that would be remembered by history.”

He continued, “Although I entered with conviction, I experienced great disappointment. However, with the physical evidence emerging, I was able to continue the fight. It was a moment when I gained certainty that this was not a human endeavor, but rather a providence of God who works all things together for good to reveal justice. I was grateful for the wisdom given to me on how to reignite interest whenever their conspiracies and activities occurred or when public attention waned.”

Min felt the need for a struggle within the institutional framework and attempted to raise issues within the National Assembly with the help of his colleagues. He also ran for election to gain influence within the assembly, but faced difficulties, being cut off during the nomination process for unclear reasons.

He recalled, “At that time, I saw Jesus Christ’s eyes filled with compassion, looking at me with pity. It felt like a message saying, ‘It is not yet time. No matter how hard you try, this is not the time, and you do not realize this while praying for it to happen.’” Ultimately, he founded a new party and ran in the election but failed to enter the National Assembly. Nevertheless, by distributing pamphlets to ten million households nationwide to raise awareness about election fraud, he was able to plant another seed of sacrifice.

“The Second Incheon Landing Operation Has Already Begun.”

Min continued his activities to inform the international community about election fraud by visiting the United States to investigate the truth. He explained, “When President Donald Trump was confident of his re-election, I entered the White House to give a briefing, held a press conference at the National Press Club, and informed them about the reality of election fraud through online briefings with National Security Council (NSC) and State Department officials due to COVID-19. I also attended the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and met people.” These activities influenced domestic public opinion, leading to increased interest, with polls showing 60% of conservative supporters and 40% of the general public acknowledging the possibility of election fraud.

The election of President Yoon Suk-yeol was another encouraging development. Min, who had been on the brink of death due to acute pneumonia and severe COVID-19, did not halt his fight against election fraud. Amidst an unprecedentedly heated atmosphere of election monitoring, Yoon was elected by a narrow margin of 0.73%. He believed that the issue of election fraud reached a turning point with Yoon’s inauguration, but for nearly three years, Yoon has remained largely silent on the matter of election fraud. At least, that was the outward appearance.

Min Kyung-wook also shared his thoughts on what is referred to as the 'Incheon Landing Operation.' This perspective suggests that since Korea lacks the capacity for self-correction, active intervention from the United States is necessary to eliminate election fraudsters and anti-national forces.

He began by saying, “The Incheon Landing Operation has already begun.” He continued, “President Trump and nominee Michelle Park share the common ground of detesting election fraud. Efforts are underway where they can unite and fight against election fraud, or against the ambitions of the left-wing, foreign powers, North Korea, and China, using election fraud as a medium. This is the second Incheon Landing Operation.”

Min had predicted President Trump's victory 19 months prior, in November of the previous year. He stated, “Based on Trump’s personality and the unfolding events, I had been saying since then that he would definitely run and become a major turning point in our fight against election fraud in South Korea. I believed that if he was re-elected president, he would relentlessly investigate the election fraud in his own country, reveal the truth of election fraud to the world, and that this would reach our country across the sea, enlightening people.”

He concluded, “Although it may seem like a very dark and difficult time now, the important thing is that the overall landscape of the fight is unfolding in a way that is not unfavorable to us. Currently, President Yoon Suk-yeol, President Trump, and Hwang Kyo-ahn are providing support, and young people are awakening and shouting ‘Yoon Again.’”

He added, “The situation is completely different from when I fought alone in the past. When you think it's pitch black and you can't see an inch ahead, it is proof that it is the deepest part of the night, and dawn is not far off.”

“Journalists Who Laid Down Their Pens at a Crucial Moment Will Be Remembered by History.”

However, Min Kyung-wook urged a proactive attitude to overcome extreme hardship and adversity, stating, “Rather than just looking to the East and across the Pacific, thinking about what aircraft carriers will be brought, we must make up our minds and solidify our own strength.”

He noted, “Hawks and doves on both sides of President Trump are influencing the formulation of policies related to Korea, and while they are making efforts, it is not entirely favorable to us. The left-wing has funneled money into think tanks and installed their people, so their influence has grown compared to the past. It is a mistake to think that public opinion in the US will all turn in our favor.”

He then advised, “Gordon Chang and Moss Tanaka are telling us that we must fight; they say that in the US, people gathered, fought, and shouted when President Trump’s victory was stolen for four years. They are telling us that South Korea must organize itself.” He shared advice for the conservative right-wing to navigate this challenging era.

Min stated sternly, “The media is a mirror reflecting the times, yet it is deeply disappointing that almost no journalists are covering the national malady of election fraud. Journalists themselves have preconceived notions and believe that there was no election fraud, or that it is a conspiracy theory. History will remember those who laid down their pens and did not report at crucial moments.”

The interview was conducted in a serious yet friendly atmosphere with the participation of the press and a YouTube team. After the interview, Min Kyung-wook and shared a meal and pledged to continue fighting together until the end.
