Madison Huang, Senior Director of Omniverse and Robotics Product Marketing at Nvidia, has engaged in discussions with a series of South Korean companies regarding collaborations in physical artificial intelligence (AI).
On the 29th, Huang visited Doosan Robotics' [454910] Innovation Center in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, where she met with Kim Min-pyo, CEO of Doosan Robotics, to discuss future collaborations in physical AI technology.
The two companies plan to build a robotic execution platform applicable to industrial sites by integrating Doosan Robotics' Agentic robot operating system, currently under development, with Nvidia's AI and robotics simulation and learning infrastructure.
Through this partnership, Doosan Robotics aims to introduce intelligent robot solutions based on the Agentic robot operating system next year and launch industrial humanoid robots by 2028. They also plan to present the results of their collaboration at major global exhibitions like CES next year.
Kim Min-pyo, CEO of Doosan Robotics, stated, "The success of physical AI hinges not only on the intelligence of AI models but also on the stability of the execution platform that operates them flawlessly in real-world environments. We will pursue the commercialization of intelligent robot solutions and industrial humanoids by combining Doosan's hardware manufacturing capabilities with Nvidia's software ecosystem."
Huang's visit followed her meetings with LG Electronics and Hyundai Motor the previous day, and she also met with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

Huang reportedly met with key executives from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix on this day to discuss building a physical AI ecosystem encompassing semiconductors and robot platforms.
During these meetings, she is said to have examined the supply chain for high-performance AI semiconductors, which serve as the "brain" for robots, and explored practical collaboration models that combine Nvidia's robot simulation platform, Omniverse, with the hardware manufacturing capabilities of South Korean companies.
Omniverse, also referred to as "Nvidia's Metaverse," is a platform for training robots in a virtual world to behave like real robots.
It allows for testing whether robots damage factories or warehouses, harm people, or function correctly before they are deployed in the real world.
Prior to these meetings, Huang engaged in broad discussions on cooperation with Hyundai Motor and LG Electronics the previous day. On the same day, she also attended the 'Leadership in the AI Era: Women's Voices' forum held at the Haedong Advanced Engineering Building at Seoul National University.
Meanwhile, Huang has been building trust with South Korean companies since accompanying CEO Jensen Huang to a meeting with Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chairman Chung Eui-sun in Seoul in October of last year.
Huang also attended a meeting between SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and CEO Jensen Huang in Silicon Valley in February of this year. Her current visit to South Korea is expected to translate the relationships she has cultivated into concrete business collaborations.
