Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of U.S. President Donald Trump, is seen entering Lotte Concert Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on April 29, where a concert celebrating the debut album release of Han Ji-hee, wife of Shinsegae Group Chairman Chung Yong-jin, was held. [Yonhap News]  

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of U.S. President Donald Trump, attended a concert by Han Ji-hee, wife of Shinsegae Group Chairman Chung Yong-jin, on April 29.

Trump Jr. attended and watched the "Han Ji-hee Deutsche Grammophon Album Release Concert" held at Lotte Concert Hall in Jamsil, Seoul, at 7 p.m. that day.

Chairman Chung waited in the concert hall lobby for about three minutes starting around 6:40 p.m. that day before greeting Trump Jr. and his party.

Chung shook hands and shared a light embrace with Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Benita Anderson, in that order, with a smile.

An attendee handed Trump Jr. a red hat, famously known as a "MAGA" (Make America Great Again) hat, with "TRUMP" written on it. Trump Jr. signed the hat and returned it.

When the concert concluded around 9:10 p.m. that day, Chung saw Trump Jr. and his party off.

Trump Jr. and Chairman Chung are known to have a special friendship.

Earlier, Chairman Chung attended President Trump's inauguration ceremony with his wife, Ms. Han, in early last year and was also invited to the Mar-a-Lago Resort in Palm Beach, President Trump's private residence.

Business figures, including Shinsegae Chairman Chung Yoo-kyung, actor Ma Dong-seok, former SSG Landers player Choo Shin-soo, and chef Son Jong-won, attended the concert that day.

Misha Raskin, founder of Reflection AI, a U.S. artificial intelligence company that recently decided to build a large-scale AI data center in Korea with Shinsegae Group, is also reportedly connected through Trump Jr.
