According to legal circles on the 6th, the special prosecutor's team will again attempt to execute the arrest warrant for former President Yoon at Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, on the morning of the 7th, the expiration date of the warrant.

This re-execution comes six days after the first attempt failed on the 1st, and one day after Ms. Kim's first summons for investigation by the special prosecutor.

The special prosecutor's team later announced in a press briefing that they had informed former President Yoon at the time that they would ensure execution, even by physical force if necessary. They also expressed their intention to seek a new warrant if the arrest could not be made before the current one expired.

The Ministry of Justice also stated that Minister Jung Sung-ho instructed Seoul Detention Center on the same day to 'actively cooperate with the special prosecutor's execution of arrest warrants.'
