Iran has delivered its response to the U.S.-proposed ceasefire agreement to Pakistan, the mediator country, Iran's state-run IRNA news agency reported on the 10th (local time).

IRNA stated that Iran's response to the recent U.S. proposal was handed over to Pakistan on this day, explaining, "According to the presented plan, negotiations at this stage will focus on ending the regional war."

Specific details regarding the response were not covered in this report.

Two days prior, on the 8th, U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House, was asked if he had received Iran's response to U.S. demands and replied, "I will probably receive a letter tonight," passing the ball to Iran.

In connection with this, on the 6th, U.S. media Axios reported that the two countries were close to signing a one-page ceasefire Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and similar observations followed from other foreign media outlets, including Reuters and Al Arabiya.

The MOU is reportedly structured as a joint declaration to commence 30 days of negotiations for detailed agreements concerning the declaration of an end to the war, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the restriction of Iran's nuclear program, and the lifting of sanctions against Iran.
