  • Cho Young-nam, Yoon Hyung-joo, Kim Se-hwan, Song Chang-sik: Their Last Stage as a Complete Quartet
  • Performance at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts (formerly Citizens' Hall), the debut venue, on the 23rd and 24th.

The 'C'est si bon Last Concert,' held on the 23rd and 24th at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Auditorium in Seoul, marks the grand finale of the 15-city tour for the four members – Cho Young-nam, Yoon Hyung-joo, Kim Se-hwan, and Song Chang-sik – and is effectively their final performance together as a complete group.

The historic final stage, marking the end of C'est si bon's 60-year musical journey, the symbol of youth culture that once swept the nation, is set to unfold.

Notably, the event will be further enhanced by the presence of Lee Sang-beok, a broadcaster and former MC of C'est si bon, as the host.

A Final Farewell at the Place of Debut's Excitement

The Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, where the concert will be held, is a symbolic venue where they had their debut performance in the past as the 'Citizens' Hall.' Cho Young-nam, Kim Se-hwan, and Yoon Hyung-joo explained the background of this concert on Lee Bong-gyu TV on the 12th, stating, "We decided to hold our final performance at the very place where we first debuted."

When Dr. Lee Bong-gyu asked if the title 'Last Concert' might be too early, considering they could perform for another 10 years, the members replied, "We called it the last concert because it seems difficult for the four of us to stand on one stage again."

In response, Dr. Lee Bong-gyu quipped, "Couldn't you form a 'New C'est si bon' with three members if something happened to one of you?" The eldest member, Cho Young-nam, jokingly replied that it would likely be difficult because "the musical styles of Twin Folio (Kim Se-hwan and Yoon Hyung-joo) and Song Chang-sik are different, so performing together on one stage wouldn't be a good fit."

The ages of the C'est si bon members are: Cho Young-nam, 81; Yoon Hyung-joo and Song Chang-sik, 78; and Kim Se-hwan, 77, all around eighty years old.

Legendary Harmonies to Adorn Memories

This concert will feature a diverse selection of songs that mark the grand finale of the legendary Korean folk music group, C'est si bon. Audiences can enjoy timeless hits such as 'Our Story,' 'Green Grass of Home,' and 'Moran Dongbaek,' performed with the accompaniment of band master Lee Jung-ho, who enriched C'est si bon's music.

In particular, this stage will also feature candid stories of friendship and life shared by the members. The YouTube comments section has been flooded with supportive messages such as, "Don't disband C'est si bon," "When will we be able to see this combination again? They were like the Beatles in our school days," and "Which singers could possibly replace C'est si bon?"

The concert will be held for two days, the 23rd and 24th, with two shows each day at 2 PM and 6 PM, totaling four performances.
