The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Saeed Koozechi, Iran's ambassador to South Korea, to its Seoul office on the 27th to protest the attack on a Korean vessel.

As Koozechi entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building that afternoon, he did not answer any questions from reporters, including whether the attack was intentional, if he intended to apologize, or if a country other than Iran was responsible for the attack.

From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, First Vice Minister Park Yoon-ju met with Ambassador Koozechi.

Earlier, on the 4th, Vice Minister Park announced the findings of the investigation into the attack on the HMM Namuho in the Strait of Hormuz, stating, "Various evidence points towards Iran," and "We will summon the ambassador to convey our strong protest regarding the attack on our vessel and demand responsible measures."
