A seal cut with a knife was spotted at a vote counting station in Seoul.

A ballot box with a seal cut by a knife was captured at an official vote counting station of the Nowon Election Commission for the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections (June 3rd Local Elections) and the National Assembly by-elections in Nowon-gu, Seoul.

According to the Freedom and Innovation Party and the Korea-US Joint Election Fraud Investigation Team on the 4th, a tipster discovered ballot boxes with seals of this kind attached at the official vote counting station of the Nowon Election Commission, set up at the Buramsan Badminton Stadium in Nowon-gu, after voting ended that day, and submitted photographic evidence.

According to the submitted photographs, the center of the seal appeared to have been cut horizontally and uniformly with a knife. Furthermore, ballot boxes were brought in with the "Open VOID" marking on the blank space of the seal ripped open, indicating it had been peeled and reapplied.

At this location, a conflict arose at 11:30 PM on the 3rd, with observers requesting support to prevent forced opening of the ballot boxes. An official from the Freedom and Innovation Party stated, "It seems voters are standing up to not stand by the outrageous acts of the Election Commission," adding, "Freedom is not free."
