Election authorities were thrown into a panic when ballots from Gyeonggi Province were found at a Seoul vote counting station. 

A ballot for a proportional representative of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council was discovered at the vote counting station in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, for the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections (June 3rd) and National Assembly by-elections. 

According to the Liberty and Innovation Party and the Korea-US Joint Election Fraud Investigation Team on the 4th, the tipster raised an objection and took photos when Gyeonggi Province ballots were found during the vote counting process, then submitted the report. 

A Liberty and Innovation official stated, "Absentee ballots are printed in stacks of 7-8 at a time by the printer, so they cannot circulate individually like this," adding, "This is circumstantial evidence of printing." 

They also pointed out, "It seems that as they attempted to manipulate multiple ballots simultaneously, traces of manipulation errors are being found here and there."
