A large number of early voting ballots, appearing to be duplicates of the election official's seal, have been discovered, further intensifying the controversy surrounding election fraud.

At the vote counting station in Dong-an-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, for the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections (June 3rd Local Elections) and National Assembly by-elections, stacks of early voting ballots, seemingly bearing copied election official seals, were found, throwing election authorities into disarray.

According to the Freedom and Innovation Party and the Korea-US Joint Election Fraud Investigation Team on the 4th, a tipster discovered and photographed a bundle of early voting ballots on the 3rd after voting ended, noting a significant color difference between the ballot paper and the area around the seal during the vote counting process.

The tipster's photos show that the seal, "Park Hye-jin Seal," with the election official's name, was stamped on a white rectangle, revealing a border that differs in color from the off-white ballot paper.

These strangely formed ballots, appearing to be copied seals, were not just one or two. As they were piled in files, observers suspect that an unimaginable number of forged ballots were introduced.

Early voting ballots are printed by a ballot issuance machine in front of the voter. Therefore, the background color and the seal are printed simultaneously, making it impossible for such a color boundary to occur. The National Assembly ballot is white, meaning a white rectangle would not be visible.

A representative of the Freedom and Innovation Party stated, "We demand that Election Official Park Hye-jin and the National Election Commission, which managed the creation of this seal, be investigated to clarify the circumstances under which a large number of suspected forged ballots were brought in."

Furthermore, they strongly protested, stating, "The National Election Commission has, by violating the Public Official Election Act, created regulations that prevent election officials from using their personal seals directly and instead require them to be printed. The National Election Commission should not recognize forged ballots that appear to have copied seals as valid."
