In an era of lawlessness where judicial justice has collapsed, a nation where even 'scientific evidence' is manipulated according to the whims of power, the grand slogan of a joint investigation by prosecutors and police no longer inspires public trust.

This is because we have repeatedly witnessed the outcomes of so-called 'performative investigations' – those that crush evidence behind the scenes while pretending to investigate – since the June 9 presidential election, as we have led the 'server expose' movement.

Following the sensational initial reports of the seizure and server acquisition at the National Election Commission related to the June 3 rigged election, the bizarre silence, with no interim reports from investigative agencies, is turning public distrust of state power concerning the rigged election into certainty.

The Korean judiciary is where the goddess of justice, blindfolded, wields her sword. Tangible evidence to prove the truth is buried in cabinets, and witnesses' cries have failed to cross the courtroom threshold.

In a nation where reason and science have gone bankrupt, the public has no way of knowing what is happening inside the 'server' that the prosecution and police have taken into their private chambers.

Who can guarantee whether log records are being erased, data is being fabricated, or behind-the-scenes immunity deals are being struck with key suspects?

What patriotic citizens desire is not merely a perfunctory announcement that 'an investigation is underway.' If this is merely an investigative card thrown to escape a crisis of power, its conclusion will inevitably be a brutal 'tail-cutting' by sacrificing a few lower-level operatives, and a grand deception of the public by granting immunity to the rigged election cartel plotting to overthrow the system.

Therefore, we sternly warn the joint investigation headquarters of the prosecution and police and urge them as follows:

Fully disclose all investigation processes and procedures, including the forensic examination of the Election Commission's server, to the public in real-time.

Digital data is fragile evidence that can be contaminated at any moment once it enters a private chamber. Only by transparently disclosing all processes, such as which programs are used for analysis, whether the hash values of the original imaging files match, and whether private experts and civil society were allowed to observe the process of searching for traces of manipulation, and if necessary, by 'live broadcasting' the proceedings, can the legitimacy of the results be recognized.

If you attempt to deceive the public again with results fabricated in a darkroom, it will not be an investigation but another crime committed by state power.

The misfortune of history, where the obvious truth of a rigged election is obscured by cunning schemes to drive South Korea into an uncontrollable state, must not be repeated.

The prosecution and police must be directly monitored by the public's eyes to see whether the blade they hold is a sword of justice that will excise the rotten parts of the rigged election cartel, or a sword of crime that will slaughter the truth.

Bear in mind that a transparent server forensic examination involving server forensic experts and security organizations, and the disclosure of its results, is the only path to restoring shattered judicial justice and calming the enraged public sentiment.

If the investigation by a public-private joint body and the full disclosure of the investigation process are not carried out, any investigative outcome will not gain trust and will face immense public resistance.

We urge the government, the ruling party, and the judicial authorities to transparently use state power based on principle and conscience to eradicate the rigged election cartel.
