Amidst the rising voices for "re-election due to fraudulent elections" at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, large-scale citizen movements are also unfolding daily in Daegu, the "heart of conservatism."

The National Struggle Headquarters for Saving the Nation, Daegu (Daetubon, Chairperson Choi Young-ho), will hold the "13th National Resistance Daegu Rally" on the 15th at 6:30 PM in front of the Daegu Jung-gu Election Commission, asserting that the June 3rd local elections were fraudulent.

"The people must step forward."

On the previous day, the 14th, during the 12th rally, citizens gathered in front of the Daegu Jung-gu Election Commission and loudly chanted slogans such as "Re-election due to fraudulent elections," "Vote counting on election day," and "Those who steal the people's votes, apologize and resign immediately."

At the rally, Han Seong-cheon, who served twice as the chairman of the National Election Commission union, took the microphone to testify about the history of struggles against fraudulent elections over 25 years. He then condemned the circumstances of fraudulent elections revealed in the June 3rd local elections and demanded punishment for those responsible.

He stated that since the introduction of electronic counting machines in 2002, there have been a total of 67 elections held up to the current June 3rd local elections. He conveyed, "If fraudulent elections are proven, all these elections will be invalidated. If this is revealed, it will be a global event."

He emphasized, "Most politicians already understand the reality of fraudulent elections but are not publicly stepping forward. The people must step forward."

Rallies held every day since the June 3rd election

A street march began at 8 PM on the same day. Daegu citizens walked from the Daegu Election Commission to Dong-a Shopping in Banwoldang, sang the national anthem for all four verses, and then dispersed.

Netizens who watched the endless march of Daegu citizens on YouTube exclaimed, "As expected, the heart of conservatism!"

Daetubon announced that a rally in Jamsil is planned for the 20th.

Founded in 2020, Daetubon currently has over 2,200 active members, primarily through its open chat room. Under the slogan "Daegu does not stop," they demonstrate their passion by not hesitating to rent buses and travel to Seoul as a group for important rallies.

Meanwhile, Daegu has served as the final bastion, rallying voter sentiment and providing support whenever conservative parties face crises. It is called the "heart of conservatism" not due to simple "blind conservatism," but out of pride in fulfilling the original function of conservatism: social integration and the protection of constitutional values.
