Morse H. Tan (Korean name: Dan Hyun-myung), the former Ambassador-at-Large for Global Criminal Justice who is currently staying in Korea due to an exit ban imposed by the Korean police, declared, "The President of this country must be held accountable for election fraud."

At the beginning of a press conference held at 8:00 PM on the 24th (Korean time) at the 2-3 gate of the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, former Ambassador Tan said in Korean, "I think the Korean people are doing a great job. You are fighting with dedication here at Olympic Park every day and every week, and you are doing it very well. Let us continue to fight together and work together until the Republic of Korea is restored."

In a Q&A session with reporters, former Ambassador Tan stated his willingness to cooperate with the police investigation, explaining that the investigation scheduled for that day fell through because the police changed terms they had previously agreed upon.

Prior to the press conference, attorney Lee Ha-sang stated that the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency had unilaterally notified them 20 minutes before the investigation that, contrary to previous agreements, they could not enter the police station by vehicle. He urged the police to keep their promises and to ensure the safety and personal privacy of former Ambassador Tan.

Attorney Lee added that despite being persecuted by Lee Jae-myung, former Ambassador Tan came to Korea because he received a divine instruction through prayer that he must go to Korea.

Former Ambassador Tan stated that he visited Korea to address the issue of election fraud and to uphold liberal democracy, and that he would continue his activities while staying in the country.

Regarding his remarks about Lee Jae-myung's past, he said, "I am fully confident in the evidence I currently possess," adding, "If I were the prosecutor in charge of this case, I believe there would be sufficient grounds to proceed."

He received applause from the crowd when he said that while he naturally wants to return to his family in the United States, he trusts in God's providence and will remain in Korea as long as God wills it.

A reporter from the Korea-US Daily asked if there was any suspicion that the deluge of evidence of election fraud in the June 3 local elections was intentionally created to pave the way for the introduction of electronic voting.

In response, former Ambassador Tan replied, "There are many elements of fraud in electronic voting. There is no need for electronic voting in any case." He added, "I am certain that the Korean people have no issues with hand-counting. You should manage your own elections directly, and you must ensure same-day voting, paper ballots, vote counting verification, and transparency."

He further added, "We must allow the entire world to monitor the elections. The NEC (National Election Commission) is unnecessary. The people can and must handle it themselves," drawing loud cheers of "That is correct!" from the crowd.

Mentioning reports that the NEC had dissolved ballots, former Ambassador Tan stated, "If this is true, it is a criminal offense and is unacceptable."

He also declared, "The A-WEB, created by the NEC, must also be dismantled," which was met with further loud applause from the crowd.

Former Ambassador Tan emphasized that the dismantling of A-WEB would ensure electoral integrity worldwide.

He noted that even if the exit ban were lifted, it does not mean he would leave immediately, saying, "I will continue to pray for the situation, and I will leave when God wants me to."

When asked what should be done as citizens have been gathering for 20 days, former Ambassador Tan stressed, "You must continue to hold politicians accountable. Most of the members of the National Assembly were not elected by you," asserting that Lee Jae-myung must be held responsible for this election fraud crisis.

He continued, "I believe the National Assembly should be dismantled and filled with representatives chosen by you."

Former Ambassador Tan argued, "I believe the President of this country must be held responsible for election fraud. You must demand that the President resign and step down. If he does not resign, he must be impeached and removed."

He stated, "He was elected through fraudulent elections and is responsible for them," again citing research that a country experiences significant change when 3.5% of its entire population rises up.

In his opening remarks earlier, former Ambassador Tan said, "The US helped the Venezuelan people by removing Maduro, whom the people themselves could not remove despite rising up."

He continued, "The US also helped the Iranian people by destroying the high-ranking leaders of Iran when they could not (remove them) themselves after rising up."

He mentioned that the US has brought about many changes in Cuba and Ukraine, and pointed out, "Currently, there are signs that North Korea is attempting to start a war again in Korea."

Former Ambassador Tan said, "Therefore, it is important for the Korean people to rise up, so that the US can help Korea."

Former Ambassador Tan reaffirmed that there was interference from Korea in the 2020 US presidential election. Citing that Korean Air flights to Arizona were loaded with counterfeit IDs and ballots, and that 6,432 votes cast for Trump in the Antrim County, Michigan election results were deleted from a Seongnam stadium, he stated, "There was a connection between the US and Korea in stealing the 2020 presidential election."

Former Ambassador Tan also mentioned that three appointed positions related to North Korea and the position of Ambassador-at-Large for Global Criminal Justice are currently vacant, and stated he would be willing to serve if appointed.

He added that the exit ban placed on him has actually served as an opportunity for the US government and people to learn more about what is happening in Korea, noting that the White House, the State Department, the Department of Defense, and even Congress are now aware of these facts.

Former Ambassador Tan concluded, "There may be tension and difficulties in the short term, but in the end, the ROK-US alliance will become even more solid and strengthened."
