Chairman Jang made these remarks while attending the launch ceremony and discussion of the People Power Party External Cooperation Committee's Youth Sovereignty Forum held at the National Assembly that day, adding, "We will ensure a special investigation into the National Election Commission is carried out and prepare for a re-election based on the findings."

Chairman Jang noted, "There is a significant gap between the political sphere and the youth regarding the perceived weight of a single vote," and pointed out, "While many in the political circle try to gloss over this situation by claiming it doesn't affect the election results, the youth believe that if even a single vote’s suffrage is infringed upon, it is absolutely unacceptable."

He went on to emphasize the need for a "full re-election," stating, "If you get caught cheating on a test, your entire paper is graded as a zero; you don't just mark the cheated answers as incorrect."

Regarding the Democratic Party of Korea's announcement that it would push for a special investigation into the National Election Commission as a party platform, he remarked, "I welcome it," but cautioned, "I hope they do not repeat the behavior of using the special investigation as a way to turn around their declining approval ratings, only to stall and eventually derail it with various excuses."

He further emphasized, "If they repeat such behavior this time, the youth, citizens, and the public who are calling for the protection of suffrage and a re-election will never forgive them."

Floor Leader Chung Point-sik said, "There can be no disagreement regarding the anger over the infringement of suffrage expressed by the youth at Olympic Park, and their legitimate outcry demanding the restoration of trust in the election management system," adding, "The People Power Party will exert every effort to uncover the truth behind the damage to public suffrage through both a parliamentary investigation and a special prosecutor's probe."

Freelancer Lim Do-hyeong, representing the Youth Sovereignty Forum, stated, "Our awareness of the problem should not stop at anger and slogans. We must connect that righteous indignation and those slogans to policy and institutional improvement," adding, "We will listen to more voices from the youth and develop practical alternatives to ensure they are reflected in the political sphere."
