On the morning of the 29th, the Republic of Korea Navy held a ceremony commemorating the 24th anniversary of the victory in the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong at the 2nd Fleet Command in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The event was attended by approximately 300 people, including Minister of National Defense Ahn Gyu-back, Chief of Naval Operations Kim Kyung-ryul, bereaved families of the fallen, and veterans. The ceremony proceeded with a tribute at the victory monument, commemorative speeches, and a screening of a commemorative video.
