Video of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's Tehran residence following joint US-Israeli airstrikesVideo of the Tehran residence of 'dictator' Ayatollah Ali Khamenei following joint US-Israeli airstrikes [Captured from IRIB Telegram channel]Iran has released previously unreleased footage showing the Tehran residence of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reduced to ruins immediately following joint US-Israeli airstrikes.

While Iranian authorities appear to have released the video as part of a public relations campaign to highlight the brutality of the US and Israeli attacks, public opinion on social media has taken a starkly different turn. The video is rapidly spreading as an example of the "well-deserved end" of a "tragic dictator" who was reportedly responsible for the deaths of 30,000 of his own citizens.

Iran released the footage toward the end of the funeral proceedings for Khamenei, who was reportedly killed instantly in the US-led airstrikes, leaving no remains to be recovered.

The video, released via Iranian state media on the 8th (local time), shows the former residence of the Supreme Leader as a site of collapsed foundations and unrecognizable piles of rubble, appearing as if returned to the Stone Age.

By launching the airstrike at a time when Khamenei and his top regime officials were gathered at the residence, the US was able to strike the target with precision and effectively eliminate the Iranian leadership, securing a tactical advantage from the very beginning of the conflict.

The strike, which precisely targeted the residence, took place on February 28, the first day of the war. The US-Iran conflict effectively signaled its commencement as news of the precision strike on the leadership headquarters was broadcast worldwide.

The dictator’s funeral, which began in Tehran on the 4th, included memorial services in the central religious city of Qom and the Iraqi Shia holy city of Karbala. It is expected to conclude on the 9th with an interment ceremony at the Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad, a Shia holy site in northeastern Iran.

Netizens have commented, "A lavish funeral for a murderous dictator?" and "It's far too grand a send-off for such a horrific murderer."

Dictatorship doesn't just happen; it becomes possible on the premise of the horrific sacrifices of many. For 10 years under Khomeini and 37 years under Khamenei, for a total of 47 years, they have enjoyed the feast of dictatorship upon the sacrifices of countless Iranian citizens. At the end, perhaps by some stroke of luck, he died suddenly without even feeling the pain of death. Is this dictator Khamenei truly lucky?
