New satellite images released by CNN on the 10th (local time), in collaboration with the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), show Iranian workers and vehicles at several suspected nuclear facility sites in early June, suggesting potential reconstruction of sites believed to have been destroyed by U.S. and Israeli airstrikes.
At the Taleghan 2 facility, located within Iran's Parchin military complex, satellite imagery captured workers excavating around holes created by U.S. bombs and covering them with rebar mesh.
The Institute identified concrete mixer trucks in the vicinity, which are presumed to be part of preparations to reconstruct the facility's concrete roof.
The Institute for Science and International Security assessed that "this work demonstrates Iran's intention to rebuild and reconfigure previously lost capabilities, despite the significant damage sustained by the site."
The facility was first destroyed in a 2024 Israeli airstrike, after which the Iranian regime attempted reconstruction. Israel conducted another strike in March 2026.
CNN reported that the Taleghan facility is one of several suspected nuclear sites across Iran where construction activity has been detected in satellite imagery, raising questions about whether Iran is once again violating the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) it signed with the U.S. in late June to halt hostilities.
In that agreement, Iran pledged that it "would not acquire or develop nuclear weapons" and agreed to "maintain the current status of its nuclear program" until a final nuclear deal is reached.
