Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assessed his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on the 28th (local time) as very successful.

In a video message recorded after concluding his meeting with President Trump at the White House and before attending the memorial service for Senator Lindsey Graham, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, "I just finished a wonderful meeting with President Trump. Today’s encounter was one of the best meetings ever."

He added that the meeting, which was their first face-to-face interaction since the outbreak of the war with Iran, featured full cooperation and mutual support, noting, "We reached a shared understanding on various issues, including the common goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons."

Prime Minister Netanyahu further emphasized, "It was one of the best conversations I have ever had with President Trump," adding, "It was an opportunity to exchange opinions and coordinate on issues critical to the security and future of Israel."

Tzipi Hotovely, Israel's Director of National Public Diplomacy who accompanied Prime Minister Netanyahu on his U.S. visit, reported that during the summit, there was no mention of the secret Iranian nuclear facility known as 'Pickaxe Mountain,' which President Trump had previously discussed as a potential target for an airstrike.

Director Hotovely stated, "The idea that we brought any intelligence to this meeting is fake news," adding, "We cooperate with U.S. intelligence agencies through our own channels. We did not need this meeting to convey intelligence."

Prior to the meeting, President Trump had shown signs of irritation in an interview with Fox News, remarking, "Bibi (Netanyahu's nickname) doesn't need to tell me about it (Pickaxe Mountain)."

Director Hotovely also shared that when Prime Minister Netanyahu referred to the late Senator Lindsey Graham as Israel's "greatest friend" during the meeting, President Trump corrected him, saying, "I am Israel's greatest friend. Lindsey was number two."

Director Hotovely added that there was no pressure to rush the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip or to withdraw Israeli forces from Syria and Lebanon.

Additionally, while the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords was mentioned during the meeting, the violence perpetrated by Jewish settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank was not discussed.

President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu launched the war against Iran on February 28 with the stated goal of regime change, and both countries have boasted of their coordination in joint operations.

However, the two leaders have shown signs of discord on several occasions during the process of discussing an end to the war with Iran.

In particular, rumors of a rift between the two leaders emerged after Israel appeared uncooperative while Iran proposed a ceasefire in Lebanon as a condition for ending the war.
