U.S. President Donald Trump left a shocking post just three hours before a bilateral working-level meeting between South Korea and the U.S., stating, "It seems like a 'Purge or Revolution' is happening in South Korea right now."

The terms "purge" and "revolution" are typically used to describe actions by socialists or communists. The fact that the U.S. president used such words to liken the situation in South Korea has led to interpretations that this reflects an unusual atmosphere within the White House.

President Trump revealed this in a post on his Truth Social account at 9:20 AM on the 25th (local time), which was 10:20 PM on the 25th in Korean time, asking, "What is happening in South Korea?"

He added, "We (the U.S.) cannot do business there (in South Korea) if that is the case," and implied that he might make the political situation in South Korea an agenda item when he meets the new president at the White House today, referring to Lee Jae-myung.

Finally, President Trump urged continued attention to this issue, stating, "Thank you for your interest in this matter."
