Charlie Kirk, founder of "Turning Point USA," a right-wing organization that supports U.S. President Donald Trump, was shot during an event at Utah Valley University in Utah, AP and NBC reported on the 10th (local time).

Fox News, citing Kirk's spokesperson, reported that he was taken to the hospital immediately after being shot, but his current condition is unknown.

President Trump wrote on Truth Social shortly after the report, "We should all pray for Charlie Kirk, who was shot. He is a great person from head to toe."
