Son Heung-min (LAFC) exploded for his first multi-goal game (two or more goals) and scored in two consecutive matches since his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut.

On the 18th (Korean time), Son Heung-min scored the opening goal in the 3rd minute of the first half against Real Salt Lake in an away game of the 2025 MLS regular season, held at America First Field in Sandy, Utah, USA.

LAFC's Timothy Tillman won the ball near the halfway line and passed it to Son Heung-min, who was surging down the left flank. Son Heung-min drove the ball into the left penalty area and placed an accurate right-footed shot into the far corner of the goal, evading the goalkeeper.

This was Son Heung-min's 3rd MLS goal.

Having scored in the match against San Jose on the 14th, Son Heung-min found the back of the net in two consecutive games.

In the 16th minute of the first half, Son Heung-min received the ball behind the penalty arc in front of the goal and fired a sharp right-footed shot from outside the box into the bottom corner of the goal, marking his 4th MLS goal.

With Son Heung-min's opening goal, LAFC is leading 2-0 as of the 19th minute of the first half. Yonhap News
