Kim Hye-seong with a Bright Expression Boards a Private Jet to Toronto... Expected to Participate in the WS

Will he step onto the dream stage after Park Chan-ho, Kim Byung-hyun, Ryu Hyun-jin, and Choi Ji-man?

Kim Hye-seong (26), a versatile player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, is expected to grace the "dream stage" of Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series (WS, best-of-seven series).

On the 23rd (Korean time), the Dodgers organization shared images of their players boarding a private jet to their destination in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, via social media.

Star player Shohei Ohtani, along with Mookie Betts and Clayton Kershaw, were seen smiling as they boarded the private jet.

Kim Hye-seong, with half of his face covered by his mobile phone, ascended the jet stairs with a wide smile.

Although the Dodgers have not yet announced their WS roster, Kim Hye-seong's appearance boarding the private jet has significantly increased his chances of being included in the active roster.

Kim Hye-seong, who joined the Dodgers before the start of this season, began the season in the minor leagues but joined the major leagues in May. In 71 regular-season games, he recorded a batting average of .280, 3 home runs, 17 RBIs, 19 runs scored, 13 stolen bases, and an OPS (on-base plus slugging) of .699.

He primarily served as a backup player, filling in for injured players and performing commendably.

Although his hitting performance declined due to fatigue late in the regular season, his speed contributed to the Dodgers' postseason advancement.

He did not play in many games during the fall campaign.

His sole appearance was on the 10th, in the bottom of the 11th inning of Game 4 of the National League Division Series (NLDS) against the Philadelphia Phillies, as a pinch-runner for Tommy Edman when the score was tied at 1-1.

However, Kim Hye-seong scored the go-ahead run in that game, contributing to the team's advancement to the National League Championship Series (NLCS).

The first game of the WS between the Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays will be held at Toronto's home stadium, the Rogers Centre, at 9 AM on the 25th.
