Trump interviewed before the tournament opening. AP=Yonhap News.
Kai Trump, who is about to debut in an LPGA Tour event, shared advice from her grandfather, U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trump will participate in the LPGA Tour's Annika Driven event (total prize money $3.25 million), which opens on the 13th in Belleair, Florida, USA.
Trump, born in 2007 and still an amateur, received a wildcard invitation to this tournament.
Kai Trump, 18, who is competing in the LPGA Tour event, is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of U.S. President Trump.
In an interview conducted before the tournament's opening, she stated that she received advice from President Trump and 'golfing legend' Tiger Woods (USA).
"Woods told me to 'just go out there and enjoy the tournament'," Trump said. "He said to go with the flow and enjoy whatever happens."
Trump visited the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational tournament venue in February of this year, met with the tournament host Woods, and attended the same Benjamin School as Woods' son, Charlie.
It was also revealed earlier this year that Woods is dating Trump's mother, Vanessa Trump.

Trump also stated, "My grandfather told me not to be nervous, and I will try to do that."
When asked to compare her golf skills with her grandfather's, she cleverly dodged the question, saying, "I'm not sure. We've played golf together a lot, but mostly on the same team."
She added that President Trump would not be attending the LPGA Tour event.
Trump is currently ranked 461st in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) rankings. She is an influencer with over 2.5 million Instagram followers and over 1.3 million YouTube subscribers.
In the first round of the tournament, she will play in a group with Hinako Shibuno (Japan) and Olivia Cowan (Germany).
American star basketball player Caitlin Clark will also participate in the tournament's pro-am.
