Advisor of Hanmi Ilbo, Former North Korean trading company representative in the Czech RepublicCurrently, 80-90% of the people in this country wish for Korea to remain a free, democratic, and independent nation forever. The rest are those who are deceived and led astray by spies and pro-North Korean, pro-China elements. In short, it means there are still more patriotic citizens in Korea.
But look at how the Republic of Korea is changing now. If you are a citizen of this country, do not just focus on yourselves; instead, see how pro-North Korean and pro-China elements become president, prime minister, and politicians, and ruin the country.
Just the other day, a patriotic resident who hung an "Anti-Communism" banner on his building was arrested by the police on charges of defamation. The police, who arrested the Jeonjangyeon activists who hung a banner on the Gyeongchumun gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace in July of this year, only imposed a fine of 50,000 won on a Chinese national who defecated at Gyeongbokgung Palace on the 10th, insulting the Republic of Korea. Korean law clearly states that even public urination incurs a fine of 100,000 won. What kind of police force is this, which only collects 50,000 won from a Chinese national who defecated in a Korean ancient palace?
That's not all. The Lee Jae-myung administration, which only fined the Chinese national who insulted Korea by defecating in an ancient palace with 50,000 won, has enacted a law that imposes a five-year prison sentence on Korean citizens who criticize China. A few years ago, a presidential press corps member was severely beaten by a Chinese national, becoming disabled, and the government couldn't say a word. All of this is evidence that Korea is already a vassal state of China. Let anyone who opposes this step forward.
Despite all this, the citizens of this country remain unmoved. Should the Republic of Korea not be boiling with anger at this point? Where have all the media outlets, former politicians, professors, doctors, lawyers, and military personnel gone?
From my perspective, Koreans are a shameful race that is arrogant towards the poor and weak but prostrates themselves before the strong. Some people may react angrily and curse me, a weak individual, but at least be ashamed. Curse the politicians who have brought Korea to this state.
Why do Koreans, after electing politicians with their own hands, re-elect them even when they enrich themselves and commit treason? Look at the behavior of the People Power Party lawmakers you elected. All they think about is filling their own pockets and protecting their lifelong sinecures; they do nothing else.
Jang Dong-hyuk, the newly elected party leader, is already eyeing the next presidential seat, putting on a show of doing something alone. He doesn't even clean up the garbage within the party. He has no intention of stopping the solo run of the Democratic Party and Lee Jae-myung. After all, what can you expect from those who continue to protect individuals like Han Dong-hoon and honor figures like Lee Wha-oh and Kim Moo-sung as senior advisors?
I believe the People Power Party, which is merely acting as a satellite party for the Democratic Party, should be dissolved as soon as possible. Even if the People Power Party is dissolved, Korea has nothing more to lose.
When I write this, some people will pretend to be knowledgeable, saying, 'The People Power Party must exist to prevent the dictatorship of the Democratic Party, which occupies all 300 seats.' They are truly foolish.
Then, has the People Power Party ever stopped the solo dominance of the Lee Jae-myung government and the Democratic Party, even once? Has the People Power Party ever defended a president or a government that emerged from its own party, even once? Instead, they sided with impeachment. Have they ever stopped even one of the dozens of impeachments and arrests of conservative politicians and ministers by the Democratic Party?
Have they ever stopped the measures of the Lee Jae-myung administration that help China dominate Korea? Have they stopped the release of captured spies, the pardon of spies caught by the previous administration, and their compensation? Have they stopped the left-wing government from giving handouts to North Korea and transferring state secrets? Have they prevented the oppression and arrest of conservative, right-wing patriots?
Has even one of the People Power Party lawmakers advocated for investigating fraudulent elections? Have any of them ever participated in the Taegeukgi protests? They have done nothing so far.
Yet, the conservative right in this country, come election time, diligently participates in early voting as if performing a great patriotic act, faithfully acting as lapdogs for these corrupt politicians. That is why Korean politicians view their citizens as dogs and pigs. A country where citizens act foolishly and politicians do not fear the citizens is doomed to perish.
Ultimately, because the over 1.2 million members of the People Power Party, responsible members, and foolish conservative right-wingers continue to act like dogs and pigs, the political landscape of this country has completely rotted. Why do citizens sacrifice their precious single vote to criminals and traitors, thereby ruining the country?
The citizens of this country do not acknowledge their own wrongdoings and instead mock the National Assembly members as "gukgae" (a derogatory term for lawmakers). They are indeed foolish beings who spit upwards, only to have it fall on themselves.
The best way for the weak citizens to serve their country without spending money is to not give their vote to politicians who are criminals and traitors. It is time to wake up!
