  • December 3rd, White Wave Art Center, Seochodong, White Hall. "Expect participation from non-Christians."
  • 123 Declaration Announced…On the first anniversary of the emergency martial law, Yoon's message from prison is also expected to be released.

The "123 Samuel Prayer for National Salvation" event, scheduled for December 3rd at 6 PM to mark one year since President Yoon Suk Yeol's emergency martial law declaration, has changed its venue to the White Hall at White Wave Art Center in Seocho-dong.

The organizers initially planned to hold the event at Eunpyeong First Church but announced the venue change due to internal church circumstances. They also explained that the location was moved to a non-church venue to accommodate non-Christians.

The organizing committee holds prayer meetings every Saturday at 6 PM to prepare for this event, and these meetings include non-Christians. During these preparation prayer meetings, they pray for an event where the Republic of Korea, including President Yoon and First Lady Kim Keon-hee, encounters God.

At the 22nd preparation prayer meeting attended by about 50 people on the 22nd (KST), lawyer Bae Hee-chul shared that President Yoon is "praying a lot" while in detention.

The upcoming national salvation prayer meeting features young patriotic pastors as speakers, drawing attention. Pastor Yeom Bo-yeon (Suwon Kingdom Church), Pastor Kim Yo-hwan (Yongin Seonghyeol Church), and Pastor Cho Deok-rae (Ilsan Jesus Sarang Church) are scheduled to deliver sermons.

Notably, at the end of the gathering, the "123 Declaration" will be proclaimed, a resolution by the entire future generation for freedom and the restoration of sovereignty. A message from President Yoon Suk Yeol, sent from prison, will also be revealed. Expectations are already high regarding what message he will deliver to mark the one-year anniversary of the emergency martial law declaration.

With the slogan "Who will stand up for My will? Speak, your servant is listening," the organizers of this national salvation prayer meeting state, "Samuel Prayer is an action-oriented prayer movement and a revival movement for free Korea, for a world ruled by truth and justice, not manipulated false justice, and for a nation where sovereignty is restored."

The organizers have requested the participation and support of more patriotic citizens. Detailed information on how to participate and donate can be found on the website koreaprays.com.

Amidst ongoing religious persecution in Korea and growing laments from patriotic Christians who despair over the current state of the left-leaning church, there are calls for repentance and spiritual awakening movements, which are more crucial than ever. Expectations are high for the role this national salvation prayer meeting will play.
