Jung Yoo-ra, daughter of Choi Seo-won, who is serving a 10-year prison sentence in connection with the so-called state affairs manipulation case, has announced legal action against Han Dong-hoon regarding her mother's retrial request, stating, "I will sue Han Dong-hoon."

On the 23rd and 24th of this month, Jung posted on her social media service (SNS), expressing her determination to see the end of her 10-year struggle, stating, "I am sharpening my resolve to the point that I am postponing my wedding planned for this year."

On the 24th, Jung Yoo-ra expressed her intense emotions, saying, "Han Dong-hoon, more than anyone else, I will bring him down. Do you know what Han Dong-hoon did to me?"

She stated, "For the sake of conservatives alone, I had intended to forgive Han Dong-hoon," but then added that the other side betrayed conservatives first, calling him "the enemy of my parents" and "Han Dong-hoon is a cancer on conservatism that must be eliminated along with the retrial."

Furthermore, Jung stated, "We must file for the retrial this week," and "If we miss this week, the suspension of execution committee for this month will end, and it will have to be pushed to next month. The People Power Party is pretending not to know, saying it has nothing to do with them. I feel like I'm dying of thirst alone."

She also pleaded, "My mother doesn't have the physical strength to endure any longer. We cannot postpone her hospital visit for another month."

Additionally, she appealed to the public for support, stating, "Now that Ahn Min-suk's lies have all been revealed, I cannot understand why she has to remain imprisoned. Most conservative figures are currently imprisoned or on the verge of imprisonment. If they are all imprisoned, we won't be able to do anything."

On the 21st, Choi Seo-won partially won a damages lawsuit against Ahn Min-suk, former member of the Democratic Party of Korea, who had raised allegations of asset concealment against her.

The court ruled that Ahn Min-suk should pay Choi Seo-won 20 million won, stating, "His remarks contributed to the increasing criticism against Ms. Choi, and given that the basis for his statements has not been revealed to this day, his remarks had a significant impact on Ms. Choi's reputation."

Ahn made statements on various channels between 2016 and 2019, such as "Choi has trillions of won in hidden assets" and "Money in Swiss secret accounts is related to Choi."

Meanwhile, Jung publicly outlined five points linking Han Dong-hoon to the state affairs manipulation retrial.

1. The statement from Jang Si-ho's recording, "My head feels like it's going to explode from memorizing what Han Dong-hoon wrote."

2. Samsung's acquittal in the case handled by Han Dong-hoon. The acquittal of Samsung's merger case, for which Han Dong-hoon investigated and prosecuted, eliminated the quid pro quo nature of the bribe.

3. Han Dong-hoon, the prosecutor in charge of Jang Si-ho, gave a blatantly lenient sentence recommendation. This was a case where the sentence was unusually higher than the recommended sentence.

4. After Jang Si-ho's testimony, Han Dong-hoon shifted the suspect's charges to Choi Soon-sil, framing her as the one responsible.

5. Han Dong-hoon's "lucky charm" remark to Jang Si-ho and providing her with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The prosecution openly provided special treatment, including holding a birthday party for Jang Si-ho's son.
