China: Magnitude 6.0 earthquake in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region bordering Kyrgyzstan. Captured by China Earthquake Networks Center 

On the 4th (local time), a magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, adjacent to Kyrgyzstan.

The China Earthquake Networks Center announced that the earthquake occurred in Aheqi County, Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, at approximately 3:44 PM on the same day.

The epicenter was located at 41.13 degrees North latitude and 78.40 degrees East longitude, with a focal depth of 10 km.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) recorded the magnitude of this earthquake as 5.8.
