The attempt to abolish the National Security Act currently underway in the National Assembly is not politics, but the dissolution of the nation.

This is not a law, but a war. It is not about changing articles, but about destroying the nation's last shield.

Have you forgotten the barbarity of communism that caused the Korean War? Have you forgotten the cries of the previous generations who shed blood?

The abolition of the National Security Act, pushed by the Democratic Party today, is an act of reopening the door to communist invasion.

How can this be called 'reform'? This is aiding the enemy. This is colluding with the enemy. This is treason.

If there are those who seek to destroy the nation's shield, now is the time for the people to rise up.

Do you intend to tear down the law built upon the blood of the Korean War?

The National Security Act is not a piece of paper. Every article of that law is infused with President Syngman Rhee's resolve, the blood of youth from the US and 16 participating nations, and the lives of our past generations.

The National Security Act is the fence of civilization, the last line of defense for freedom, created by their sacrifice.

Who dares to try and pull out this pillar? On what basis, for whom, are you trying to abolish this law? What lies behind it?

The warnings of Pastors Cho Yong-gi and Jeon Kwang-hoon were prophecy

At the National Assembly for the Defense of Freedom of the Republic of Korea, the two pastors cried out to the congregation and the nation:

"If the National Security Act collapses, the nation will collapse!"

They spoke with the perspective of history. They understood the nature of communist totalitarianism.

This warning is not a religious statement. It is a principle of survival for civilized nations.

Confucius already warned us

Confucius described the signs of national dissolution as follows:

"危而不持 顚而不扶 則將焉用彼相矣."

(If a country is collapsing and one does not hold it, or is falling and one does not support it, what use is such a minister?)

Today, Confucius's question is directed at the National Assembly. When the nation is shaking, rather than holding it up, there are those who are breaking its pillars themselves. If this is not the end of days, what is?

Citizens, do you mean to say this is not an act of aiding the enemy?

Blind support from a specific region endangers the nation

Even though the Republic of Korea is in a dire crisis, blind support continues in a specific region, ignoring reality.

However, the righteous army says:

They are also our citizens. They are not objects of resentment, but objects of awakening. Therefore, we must shout louder, more clearly.

Citizens, social media is our new weapon

The current war is not fought with guns and swords, but with public opinion. The front line of national defense is the smartphone in the hands of every citizen.

Intellectuals, do not remain silent. Youth, freedom is not free.

Citizens, your single sentence can protect the fate of the nation.

Spread it through social media. Inform your acquaintances. Let the flame of awakening spread.

We must not betray the blood of our predecessors, nor sin against our grandchildren

What defended the Republic of Korea in the Korean War were the young people with guns and the citizens who did not remain silent.

We live on the grace of that blood. If we forget that grace and tear down the National Security Act, jeopardizing the nation,

we will leave an unforgivable historical sin to future generations.

Therefore, I offer this proclamation to the nation.

"There can be no literature without a foundation. Protecting the National Security Act is protecting the freedom of the Republic of Korea."

"Arise, citizens! It is time to act, remembering the blood of our ancestors and protecting the freedom of our descendants!"

As long as the people are awake, no reckless act can bring down the Republic of Korea.
