U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will deliver a national address on the 17th at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (11 a.m. KST on the 18th).
Trump announced on his social media platform, Truth Social, on the 16th (local time), "I am planning to give a national address live from the White House tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Eastern Time."
Trump added, "I look forward to seeing you then," and "This has been a tremendous year for our country, and the best is yet to come."
Trump did not mention the theme of the national address.
However, considering that he has been struggling with declining approval ratings amid voter criticism of high inflation, it is anticipated that the national address will primarily focus on highlighting the achievements of his policy agenda during his first year in his second term and expressing confidence that the U.S. economy and security will improve next year.
