Trump and aide Margo Martin. EPA=Yonhap News
Margo Martin, 30, a White House communications aide, is emerging as the behind-the-scenes power broker of U.S. President Donald Trump's social media strategy, the Washington Post reported on the 1st (local time).
Margo Martin accompanies President Trump closely, as much as the Secret Service agents responsible for his security, creating social media content from his every move.
It was Martin who filmed President Trump dancing to welcome music on a Malaysian airport runway last October, handing out fries at McDonald's during a campaign rally, and greeting children in the Oval Office.
In particular, vertical videos and photos taken by Martin during President Trump's Asia tour last fall have garnered nearly 50 million views on her X account alone.
On 'Team Trump' Instagram and TikTok, run by President Trump's staff, these videos have been played over 222 million times.
The impact is considered even greater when adding millions of additional views generated by Trump supporters sharing the content themselves.
Martin, armed with just an iPhone camera, films "behind-the-scenes" footage, which is perceived as an authentic portrayal of President Trump and dramatically increases online engagement among his supporters, the WP reported.
Analysis suggests that right-wing influencers further process the videos and photos posted by Martin, using them in memes and podcast clips, which further solidifies the bond between President Trump and his supporters.

Martin also served as a communications aide during Trump's first administration. After Trump failed to win re-election in 2020, she moved to Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump resides, staying by his side and enduring hardships together.
Interview recordings made by Martin for Trump's book later became subject to a special counsel investigation related to allegations of mishandling classified documents.
Martin's unassuming and calm personality is also said to have been a plus factor in gaining the President's trust.
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said Martin is "trusted by the President."
Leavitt added that Martin's desk is located just outside the Oval Office, "allowing her to witness the President's daily work up close and share it with the public."
President Trump once called Martin " the most beautiful photographer in the world" at a rally.
Alex Bruziewicz, who designed President Trump's online strategy for the 2024 election, said Martin is "undoubtedly one of the most influential creators and possibly the first White House influencer."
