President Donald Trump is calling for the arrest of Biden administration officials linked to the alleged misuse of an auto-pen during former President Joe Biden's tenure, a type of ominous message preceding past Justice Department actions, Newsmax reported on Saturday (local time).
Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday afternoon, "Everyone is asking about the auto pen?" He stated, "This is totally illegal and everything signed in that manner is null and void."
Trump emphasized, "Whoever 'rigged' the auto pen had no idea if Biden approved of his actions. No written order existed, and it was an entirely illegal act by radical left-wing insurrectionists who illegally ran the Biden administration."
Following his previous assertion that Biden's auto-pen executive orders and pardons were invalid, Trump is now urging arrests and potential criminal prosecution, adding that the "price to be paid" must be "a big one."
Trump concluded in a statement, "They should all be arrested for what they have done to our country. They could not win the presidency, but if you think about it, neither did Joe Biden."
He stressed, "The whole process was rigged. There must be a price to be paid, and that price must be very large!"
