The direct translation of "Seoro" (서로) is "auspicious dew," signifying "a sign of a prosperous and peaceful era."

The author saw this auspicious dew in Jang Dong-hyuk's eyes. On the morning of the seventh day of his hunger strike, as he emerged in front of the National Assembly main building, he teared up, saying, "I feel like something new is happening."

And when President Park Geun-hye visited him, asking him to stop his hunger strike for a greater cause, his eyes, as he respectfully bowed his head in response, also welled up with tears.

Seoro: A Sign of a Prosperous and Peaceful Era

It was "Seoro." It was definitely "Seoro." The warm tears that moistened Representative Jang Dong-hyuk's eyes were precisely "Seoro," the auspicious dew that hints at a prosperous and peaceful era for Korea.

President Park Geun-hye must have also seen Representative Jang Dong-hyuk's resolve on the morning of his seventh day of fasting, as he gazed at the sky, contemplating his warm tears.

And the next day, she must have rushed over to ask him to stop his hunger strike here for a greater cause. This is not a coincidence.

Indeed. This is not just a simple coincidence; it is a preordained destiny. If we recall who President Park Geun-hye is, we will understand why this is destiny, not coincidence.

At 23, she lost her mother (Yoo Young-koo) to Moon Se-gwang's bullets, and at 27, her father (Park Chung-hee) was assassinated by Kim Jae-gyu. Park Geun-hye herself was unjustly impeached, sentenced to 22 years in prison, fined 18 billion won, and ordered to pay 3.5 billion won in forfeiture, and was imprisoned.

May everyone be just like Park Geun-hye.

By a stroke of luck, she was pardoned and released after 4 years and 9 months (1737 days), regaining her freedom. However, she remains withdrawn from the world, living in seclusion in her hometown, Daegu.

Some argue that she should have her honor restored, citing grounds for retrial, but she has shown no inclination to do so.

She is an unfortunate president who was impeached not by her political rivals but by a rebellion from within her own party's lawmakers. Yet, she saved Representative Jang Dong-hyuk. Anyone else would have likely paid no mind, whether Jang Dong-hyuk lived or died, or the People Power Party collapsed.

Who are the People Power Party? Is it not a perfidious party that has ousted not only the No. 1 party member, Park Geun-hye, but also President Yoon Suk-yeol?

Yet, it is a party of old fogeys, filled with elders who are still unrepentant and insist on continuing with the utmost traitor, Han Dong-hoon, who stabbed Presidents Park Geun-hye and Yoon Suk-yeol in the back, and his sycophants.

Given these circumstances, how can we call President Park Geun-hye's move to stop Representative Jang Dong-hyuk's hunger strike, who is fighting against the tyrannical Lee Jae-myung government, in a mere 240 seconds, a coincidence?

The author views this incident as a major event that has transfused vital blood into the cooling heart of Korean conservatism. It is unclear whether Representative Jang Dong-hyuk, who narrowly escaped death, understands the implications of this event.

Therefore, we implore Representative Jang Dong-hyuk: Why not grant President Park Geun-hye the epithet "Seoro," a sign of a prosperous and peaceful era, and appoint only President Park Geun-hye as an honorary advisor to the People Power Party, thereby innovating Korean politics into a bold, youthful political movement? There will be a day to see President Park Geun-hye again. Did she not say so herself?
