“Is this friend Jang Dong-hyuk not really crazy? Is he desperate to make the People Power Party a 'Yoon-again' party? Has he fallen into extreme right-wing pseudo-political religion? I don’t know how the junior politician I used to know, who was diligent, humorous, and handsomely good-looking, has come to politics so carelessly, as if drunk and tossing and turning.”

These words were posted on Facebook by Kim Hyung-oh, a senior party elder who served five terms as a lawmaker and once led the party and the National Assembly.

It is not Jang Dong-hyuk who is crazy, but Kim Hyung-oh. I cannot comprehend how he is not helping the party leader who is struggling to revive the People Power Party, a revanchist party that has impeached two presidents elected by the party, but instead, is even breaking the pottery.

Therefore, today, the author urges the party's senior advisory group, including Kim Hyung-oh, to “quietly leave the party if you dislike Representative Jang Dong-hyuk’s direction.”

Is Representative Jang Dong-hyuk's sincerity the problem?

Representative Jang Dong-hyuk is not the party leader you appointed; he is the People Power Party leader chosen by 700,000 party members.

There are exactly three reasons why Representative Jang Dong-hyuk was elected. First, he will embrace President Yoon Suk-yeol's achievements and shortcomings. Second, he will resolve internal party conflicts, including those involving Han Dong-hoon. Third, he made a clear promise to cooperate with asphalt conservatives to judge the Lee Jae-myung administration.

Today marks exactly six months since Representative Jang Dong-hyuk was elected. Within 160 days of taking office, Representative Jang Dong-hyuk has already kept two promises to the public.

One is that he chose 'Yoon-again,' not yielding to strong internal party backlash that claimed severing ties with President Yoon Suk-yeol is the way to save the People Power Party. The other is that he fulfilled 66% of his promises by expelling former party leader Han Dong-hoon, who labeled President Yoon Suk-yeol a "leader of rebellion."

Representative Jang Dong-hyuk now has only one promise left: 'pan-conservative alliance' to end the Lee Jae-myung dictatorial regime. I am confident that Representative Jang Dong-hyuk will undoubtedly keep this promise as well.

How could Representative Jang Dong-hyuk not know that the victory in the local elections, just three months away, is a golden opportunity to oust Lee Jae-myung? If he loses the June 3 local elections, Representative Jang Dong-hyuk will bear all the responsibility.

The author is optimistic about Representative Jang Dong-hyuk's conservative alliance. This is because the leaders of the four liberal-conservative parties have declared a joint struggle to oust the Lee Jae-myung administration.

The 'declaration of war against the Lee Jae-myung government' announced by Representative Jang Dong-hyuk at a press conference on the 20th is consistent with the joint movement of the four opposition parties to oust the Lee Jae-myung administration. The statement by Our Republican Party leader Cho Won-jin that the four opposition parties will unconditionally help the People Power Party in this local election is evidence of this.

The People Power Party will win if they only follow Jang Dong-hyuk

Through a 24-hour filibuster, an 8-day hunger strike, fulfilling 66% of the party leader's pledges, and rational party operations to date, Representative Jang Dong-hyuk is already the undisputed number one candidate for the next presidential election, with party member support close to 80%.

If only the 'People Power Party traitors' who are eager to bring him down are pacified and candidate nominations are handled properly, the June 3 local elections will be a guaranteed win. It is simply pathetic that they are barking at the moon despite the situation.

Public sentiment in the marketplace has infinite trust in the 1.15 million party members and Representative Jang Dong-hyuk, who are silently protecting the People Power Party as a conservative party, the 'party of patricide' and 'party of betrayal.'

The proof of this is the indicator of Representative Jang Dong-hyuk's undisputed number one position as a candidate for the next presidential election. However, the internally autistic individuals within the party cannot even read this signal. If I were the party leader, I would have already eliminated the 'senior advisory group who eats hot rice and spews nonsense.'

To conclude, I once again urge the People Power Party to please follow Representative Jang Dong-hyuk, a righteous and wise great general (名將), and achieve an overwhelming victory in the June 3 local elections.

That is the only path that will save the People Power Party, the nation, and the 52 million citizens of the Republic of Korea. If, by any chance, you turn a deaf ear to the sincere hearts of the fervent party members, there will be no path for the People Power Party to survive again. Please heed the final sincere advice of the responsible party members.

He comes when called, he goes when told, and he is loyal to the People Power Party without a single complaint! Representative Jang Dong-hyuk, from the loyal region of Chungcheong Province, is not an easy person to deal with. Don't underestimate him, or you'll regret it. It's time to be smart before a party member revolt breaks out.
