Breitbart News reported that InsiderAdvantage, one of the most accurate polling organizations of 2024, has placed President Trump’s current approval rating at 50%.
The polling firm stated, "In a national poll of 800 voters conducted from February 17 to 18, with a margin of error of ±3.46%, Donald Trump's approval rating appears to be nearly equal to or slightly higher than his national vote share in the November 2024 presidential election."
President Trump's disapproval rating was recorded at 46%.

Matt Towery, a polling expert at InsiderAdvantage, explains why his polling results differ from media polls that show Trump’s approval rating near 40%.
He wrote, "Polling organizations are clearly divided in their data collection methods and how they weight approval ratings. However, it should be noted that the firms that produced the most accurate results in President Trump's three presidential campaigns utilized similar methodologies."
This includes the Rasmussen Reports poll, which currently puts Trump’s approval at 48% and disapproval at 51%. In the RealClearPolitics polling average, Trump’s approval rating stands at 42.1%, with a disapproval rating of 55.2%.
White House spokesperson Taylor Rodgers stated in a statement regarding the poll results, "President Trump is fighting every day to improve the quality of life for workers, having enacted the largest tax cuts in history for the middle class, directed administrative actions that have pushed housing affordability to its highest level in four years, and strengthened America's energy dominance, which has brought the national average gas price to under $3 per gallon. While there is still more work to be done, President Trump is successfully fulfilling his promise to 'Make America Great Again'."
Although InsiderAdvantage did not conduct national polls during the 2024 presidential election, it provided nearly accurate predictions for the five most competitive swing states.
In Wisconsin, it predicted a 1 percentage point victory for Trump; he actually won by 0.9 percentage points. In Pennsylvania, it predicted a 1 percentage point victory; he won by 1.7 percentage points.
In Michigan, InsiderAdvantage predicted a tie, but Trump won by 1.4 percentage points. In North Carolina, it predicted a 2 percentage point victory for Trump, and he won by 3.3 percentage points.
In Nevada, it also predicted a tie, but Trump won by 3.3 percentage points. This suggests that InsiderAdvantage may have actually underestimated Trump’s 2024 approval rating.
Breitbart News assessed that one of the best indicators of a president's true public support is the posture of the White House and the president himself; given that neither the White House nor the president is showing signs of concern over a drop in approval, internal polling results likely appear favorable.
John Nolte of Breitbart News concluded, "Given the booming economy, an approval rating of 50% is not surprising at all."
