“The great catastrophe for humanity is not COVID-19 or World War III, but left-wing ideology.”

A revised edition of the book, ‘The Great Catastrophe for Humanity is Left-wing Ideology’ (by Byun Hee-tae), which diagnoses the reality of South Korea where spiritual culture is collapsing due to the spread of left-wing ideology and seeks alternatives, has been published.

The author's greatest concern, expressed through this book, is the left-wing ideology's scheme to exert influence worldwide under the guise of "progress."

He states, "Progress is imagined as something that improves, innovates, and develops, while conservatism is imagined as something that protects and settles for the existing," adding, "They are achieving immense success globally by employing the strategy that progress is supported by young, competent, and highly educated elites."

In particular, the author casts a worried eye on how progressives, who claim to resist injustice and emphasize justice and human rights, secure their influence by showing continuous interest and support for labor, women, sexual minorities, refugees, peace, and the environment.

In this way, while dominating the world with the most human-like face of progress, their true identity is left-wing ideology, and left-wing ideology is the main culprit that destroys the most humane world.

"Left-wing ideology is a meticulous communization strategy by communists that sows discord, conflict, confrontation, clashes, and chaos among free democratic citizens, plotting, manipulating, and scheming."

According to the author, they have no conscience, morality, or ethics, and readily resort to lies, terror, manipulation, incitement, threats, and violence as needed.

"The citizens of this nation, who are more conscientious, sensible, rational, and intellectual than anyone else, foolishly cannot even guess the true nature of the leftists."

He particularly expresses concern about China's expansion into South Korea, stating, "While we are lost in thought, all sectors of South Korea are falling into the hands of Chinese people. Unknowable properties owned by Chinese nationals are scattered throughout Seoul."

The book argues that without understanding the essence and reality of left-wing ideology, conservatives can never defeat the left, and it meticulously dissects their true nature.
