The first trial related to the May 18th Uprising involving writer Kim Gyu-na will be held on April 2nd at 10:50 AM.

The secretariat of the Preparatory Committee for the Association of Liberal Writers informed our newspaper, stating, "The first trial for our member, writer Kim Gyu-na, will be held on Thursday, April 2nd, at 10:50 AM at the Bucheon Branch of the Incheon District Court. A press conference will be held in front of the building after the trial. We kindly request your attendance."

Writer Kim Gyu-na was indicted for allegedly disparaging Han Kang's Nobel Prize in Literature award and the May 18th Uprising. After receiving a summary indictment of a 1 million won fine from the prosecution, she requested a formal trial in August of last year.
