U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the 3rd (local time) that Vice President JD Vance will take on the role of chief responsible for blocking and cracking down on "fraudulent acts" related to taxes, including the illicit procurement of welfare budgets.

In a post on the social media service (SNS) Truth Social on the same day, President Trump stated that Vice President Vance would serve as the so-called "FRAUD CZAR" and would cooperate with "many excellent individuals" within the administration.

President Trump emphasized that Vice President Vance will focus on the so-called "Blue States," such as California, Illinois, Minnesota, Maine, and New York, where Democratic mayors are implementing "free for all" policies.

The reasoning behind assigning the role of chief crackdown officer to Vice President Vance, the second-highest-ranking official in the administration, is the judgment that "tax fraud" or "welfare fraud," involving the illicit acquisition of taxpayer money through false documentation, is rampant in states led by Democratic officials.

President Trump added, "If successful, we can literally achieve a balanced budget for America (without a deficit). The crackdown has already begun in Los Angeles."

Meanwhile, Vice President Vance is scheduled to visit Hungary with his wife, Mrs. Usha Vance, on the 7th-8th, ahead of the Hungarian general election (on the 12th). He will meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and deliver a speech there. This move is seen as an effort to support Prime Minister Orbán, a prominent European right-wing leader and a strong supporter of Trump, in the general election.
