Late Tuesday night (local time), U.S. President Donald Trump pressured Iranian leaders to agree "quickly" to his demand for a ceasefire, warning that U.S. forces would next target Iran's bridges and power plants.

The President wrote on Truth Social, "Our military, which is by far the strongest in the world (by far!), has not yet even started on the remaining remnants of destruction in Iran. The next is bridges, then power plants! The leadership of the new regime knows what they must do, and they must do it quickly!"

Previously, President Trump had introduced a video of a newly constructed 446-foot bridge connecting Tehran and Karaj being destroyed in a single strike.

According to the New York Post, U.S. officials identified the bridge as a strategic structure forming part of the supply route for Iran's missile and drone operations.

While Iranian state media denied the bridge was open to the public and being used for military purposes, U.S. Department of Defense officials claimed the strike disrupted a major supply route.

The bridge had also gained notoriety as the tallest bridge in the Middle East.

The video shared by Trump on Truth Social showed the massive bridge collapsing in a pillar of smoke, which analysts viewed as a calculated attempt to weaken Iran's logistical capabilities and increase pressure on its leadership.

President Trump had warned on Truth Social on Thursday afternoon, "The biggest bridge in Iran collapsed and will no longer be used. There will be more to come! Iran should be negotiating when it's not too late."

U.S. officials revealed to several media outlets that additional infrastructure targets, including more bridges and key energy facilities, were likely already under review.

President Trump emphasized that power plants could face "very serious attacks, and perhaps simultaneously" if Tehran refused to negotiate.

In a follow-up post Friday morning, President Trump stated that opening the Strait of Hormuz was also imminent.

He wrote, "If we have a little more time, we will easily open the Strait of Hormuz, secure the oil, and make a lot of money. This would be a ‘big hit’ for the entire world???"

In a prime-time address to the nation on Wednesday night, President Trump threatened to attack Iran "extremely strongly" for a short period if necessary, while also leaving the door open for negotiations that could bring regional stability.

These negotiations appear to involve not only talks with Iran but also engaging other allied nations to become directly involved in the region.

President Trump posted a short message on Truth Social Friday afternoon: "Keep the oil, anyone?"

Christine Guerrero, a prominent oil industry strategy consultant, explained on X, " 'Keep the oil' means leave Iranian oil in the ground. This means a reduction of 2 million barrels per day of global oil exports."

She predicted, "This is better than a reduction of 10 million barrels per day from the Iranian region. Therefore, spot prices will fall, but long-term oil prices will rise."

Some interpret "Keep the oil" as "I will take the oil." This implies a taunt to allies, telling them to either take oil from Iran or buy oil from the United States.

Another interpretation is that the U.S. intends to pressure non-combatant nations, including the UK, which are facing severe oil and gas shortages, to participate in the U.S.-led military operation targeting Iran's infrastructure.
