The 26th Wonmisun Azalea Festival took place on April 4th and 5th in Wonmisun, Bucheon. ⒸHanmi IlboOn Sunday, the 5th, the 26th Wonmisun Azalea Festival unfolded at Wonmisun in Bucheon amidst the full bloom of spring. Wonmisun, a modest mountain standing at 167 meters above sea level, transforms into a vast field of azaleas at the beginning of April each year. Tens of thousands of azalea bushes bloomed simultaneously, painting the entire hillside in a light pink hue. Visitors enjoyed a delightful day by participating in a hwajeon-making experience, where they created traditional Korean pancakes using azalea petals.
