President Donald Trump fiercely criticized Tucker Carlson's remarks on the Iran war on Tuesday, stating that Carlson "doesn't know what he's talking about."

Carlson claimed that a Truth Social post by President Trump, which included profanity and a warning that Iran's power plants and bridges would be bombed soon on Easter morning, was "the first step toward nuclear war."

President Trump told the New York Post, "Tucker is not a smart person, he doesn't know what he's talking about. He calls me constantly, I don't pick up. I don't deal with him. I like working with smart people, not fools."

In an X post on Monday afternoon, Carlson introduced an episode, writing, "The desecration of Easter was the first step toward nuclear war. Christians need to understand where Trump is leading us."

On his podcast, Carlson likened Trump to the Antichrist, claiming he was instigating a nuclear war to bring about Armageddon.

"Is it possible the president sees this in a larger sense? Does he see this as the accomplishment of some goal, as a step toward a higher position beyond the office of president of the United States?" he asked.

He suggested that President Trump's decision not to place his hand on the Bible during his inauguration oath in January 2025 might be "because he rejects what is inside of it, namely, the limits of human behavior. If there's one theme that runs through all 66 books of the Christian Bible, it's that you are not God, and you cannot wield his power with impunity."

Carlson urged administration officials to resist such orders, even suggesting they should refuse to carry them out and say, "I resign. I will not follow. You figure out the cipher on the football yourself."

President Trump dismissed such claims in a phone interview with the New York Post, reiterating that Carlson "doesn't know what he's talking about." He emphasized that the administration is focused on protecting American interests and restoring stability in the Middle East.

'Headquarters' (@HQNewsNow), a propaganda X account of former Vice President Kamala Harris, cited remarks made by Vice President JD Vance in Hungary on Tuesday morning, claiming "Trump suggested he would use nuclear weapons."

Vice President Vance stated, "We have a number of options that we have not yet decided to use, and the President of the United States will use those options if Iran does not change its course of action, and in fact, will use them."

The White House immediately dismissed the claim via its official propaganda account, @RapidResponse47, stating, "Nothing the Vice President said here implies anything of the sort. Stop the ridiculous nonsense."
