U.S. President Donald Trump has invited chief executive officers (CEOs) of major domestic corporations, including Nvidia and Apple, to accompany him on his visit to China, online media Semafor reported on the 7th (local time).

CEOs from tech giants as well as ExxonMobil, Boeing, Qualcomm, Blackstone, Citigroup, and Visa were included in the list of those invited to accompany President Trump to the U.S.-China summit scheduled for the 14th-15th.

In a recent meeting with company CEOs, President Trump spontaneously suggested, "See you in Beijing," stimulating their FOMO (fear of missing out), according to an official familiar with the matter.

The recommendation for the delegation accompanying the China visit is known to have been primarily driven by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant, USTR Representative Jamieson Greer, and Ambassador to China David Purdue.

However, compared to his Middle East tour last year, where a large number of business figures participated and yielded investment results, Trump's China visit is expected to be less commercial in nature, with a greater focus on fostering the relationship between President Trump and President Xi Jinping, the media outlet assessed.

The commercial achievements the U.S. might secure from China during this visit are expected to be limited to sales of U.S. soybeans and Boeing aircraft, the analysis stated.

Sources have previously indicated that China has agreed to resume purchases of U.S. soybeans and is demanding multi-year parts warranties from the U.S. in relation to a contract to purchase 500 wide-body aircraft from Boeing.
