Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf [AP Yonhap News File Photo]
In response to President Donald Trump's remarks that the ceasefire with Iran is barely holding and that he is considering restarting the "Project Freedom," Iran has stated that it is prepared for any response.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of the Iranian parliament and leader of the Iranian delegation in the ceasefire negotiations, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) late on the 11th (local time), "Our military is ready to respond decisively to any aggression."
He asserted, "Wrong strategies and decisions always lead to wrong outcomes, and the world already understands this fact."
Ghalibaf further emphasized, "We have prepared for all options, and they will be surprised (by our response)."
Ghalibaf's remarks on this day were in response to President Trump's tough statements, as the two sides continue to engage in a power struggle over ceasefire conditions.
Previously, when asked about the ceasefire situation with Iran, President Trump stated, "It's unbelievably weak, the weakest state. It's on life support in every way, and the doctor is coming in and saying there's a 1% chance."
Additionally, in an interview with Fox News, President Trump revealed that he is considering restarting the suspended "Project Freedom."
