U.S. President Donald Trump shares a post that says "Arrest traitor Obama."

U.S. President Donald Trump has shared posts calling for the arrest of former President Barack Obama, leading to speculation that judicial sanctions against Obama may be imminent. 

According to the U.S. daily Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on the 12th (local time), President Trump shared several posts from other accounts criticizing Obama on his Truth Social account.

After successively sharing posts with seemingly plausible claims that Obama and former CIA Director John Brennan orchestrated a "Russia hoax" to oust President Trump after his election victory in the 2016 presidential race, he wrote, "Arrest traitor Obama." 

He also posted an AI-generated image depicting Obama, former President Joe Biden, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi covered in excrement in front of the Washington Monument, with the caption, "Dumacrats love shit."

[Trump Truth Social Capture]In addition, he shared a series of posts from other accounts that included credible claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election and dissatisfaction with the Justice Department's failure to indict Democratic figures.

The WSJ criticized President Trump's use of Truth Social as a platform for spreading conspiracy theories and attacking political opponents, based on an analysis of thousands of his posts. However, Trump supporters have responded by accusing the WSJ and other "seriously biased mainstream media" of being "one-eyed" or "oblivious," or of being "mouthpieces for the Democratic Party of America" with no interest in the truth. 

President Trump himself has also vehemently criticized the WSJ as a prime example of "fake news."
