U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the 15th (local time) that he had reached a "fantastic trade deal" with China.

President Trump made this statement to reporters during his meeting with President Xi Jinping at Zhongnanhai in Beijing on the last day of his three-day state visit to China.

Zhongnanhai, an ancient imperial garden located west of the Forbidden City, is the "heart of Chinese power" where President Xi's residence and office are located.

President Trump had tea with President Xi and took a walk together here.

President Trump pointed to the roses in the garden and said, "These are the most beautiful roses anyone has ever seen," and President Xi said he would send President Trump rose seeds.

When asked by reporters if he was enjoying his visit, President Trump gave a thumbs-up without answering.
