  • "Iran can be bombed again"... hints at resuming attacks if no progress in negotiations within days

President Donald Trump, who announced a pause on planned attacks on Iran, said on the 19th (local time) that he might strike Iran again and that he was giving them a few days.

Speaking to reporters at the White House that day, President Trump reiterated his claim that he had postponed the attack on Iran at the request of Gulf leaders, stating, "They said they could give us a couple of days. I'm talking about a specific period of time, like two or three days, maybe Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or early next week."

This effectively put pressure on Iran, as he had postponed the attack scheduled for that day the previous day but indicated that an attack could resume as early as two to three days if negotiations with Iran did not progress.

However, given that he also mentioned "early next week," it can be interpreted that he intends to observe the progress of negotiations until early next week if possible.

President Trump announced on his social media platform Truth Social the previous day that he had "ordered the military not to attack Iran on June 19, at the request of Gulf leaders."
