U.S. President Donald Trump stated on the 24th (local time) that he had instructed American representatives negotiating a peace agreement with Iran "not to rush to reach an agreement."

Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social, "The negotiations (with Iran) are proceeding in an orderly and constructive manner," and made this statement.

President Trump claimed that the reason for instructing not to rush to an agreement was that "time is on our side."

He emphasized, "(The U.S.'s maritime blockade on Iran) will remain in full effect with full force until an agreement is reached, certified, and signed."

He also told Iran, "They need to understand that they cannot develop or acquire nuclear weapons or nuclear bombs."
