At approximately 8:00 AM on the 30th, three members of a family were found dead in a detached house in Hwabuk-myeon, Sangju-si, Gyeongbuk Province.

According to police and fire authorities, the deceased were a family of three, including a couple in their 50s and their young son. The discovery was made by an acquaintance who visited the scene and reported it.

The deceased were reportedly despondent about their lives. It was investigated that the acquaintance who found the scene had received pessimistic text messages from the deceased couple on the day of the incident.

Police are investigating the detailed cause of death.
