U.S. President Donald Trump strongly criticized critics from both the Democratic and Republican parties on the 1st (local time), stating that peace talks with Iran would lead to an agreement favorable to the United States.

In a Truth Social post early that day, President Trump said, "Iran wants to negotiate in good faith and it will be a good deal for the United States and our allies."

He added, "Just sit back and relax. Everything will work out fine in the end, as it always does."

Earlier, it was reported that President Trump did not approve the tentative memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a U.S.-Iran ceasefire last week and sent revised terms with stricter conditions to Iran.
