U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed his attendance at the Group of Seven (G7) summit to be held on the 15th in Évian-les-Bains, France.

On the 3rd (local time), President Trump stated on the social media platform Truth Social, "Immediately after what will be one of the most exciting nights in American history, the (UFC) World Championship bout held on the White House South Lawn, I will be going to the G7 meeting in France."

While it is customary for the U.S. president to attend the G7 summit, President Trump's participation had been a point of focus due to recent conflicts with European allies over issues such as the Iran issue.

President Trump has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction, stating that major allies such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy have not been sufficiently cooperative in the process of engaging with Iran.

President Trump said, "According to records, there have been much lower-level fights during the long and storied history of the White House, but it has never been imagined that the world's top fighters, all champions, would compete in the 'People's House' (referring to the White House)."

An UFC event, 'UFC Freedom 250,' will be held on the White House South Lawn on the 14th, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. This day also marks President Trump's 80th birthday.
