U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hagerty announced a bombing of Iran's "key facilities" on the 10th (U.S. local time).

Hagerty told reporters at U.S. Central Command headquarters in central Florida that "CENTCOM (which is conducting the war against Iran) will be busy tonight," adding, "Iran has had an opportunity to reach a good agreement, and they have not tried to do so, despite having the chance to formalize what they have said they were willing to do."

He continued, referring to Iran, "You can see someone 'tapping and tapping' on an agreement (meaning stalling for time)," and stated, "Instead, they will see bombs 'tapping and tapping' on Iran's key facilities from the United States."

Earlier, President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House, "In case you miss it or don't turn on the TV," adding, "We hit Iran hard yesterday. We will hit Iran hard again today."

President Trump repeatedly emphasized that Iran is "tapping and tapping" and that airstrikes on Iran's infrastructure, such as power plants and bridges, are imminent and that he has the will to carry them out.
